CMDA Phoenix provides opportunities throughout the year to help healthcare students and professionals become growing disciples of Jesus Christ. Some are provided locally, while others may be accessed through our National ministry and its website. Here are a few examples.

  • Local gatherings of students and professionals. (See our Events page for details.)

  • Various blogs, podcasts and publications. 

  • Faith Prescriptions, CMDA’s online video series designed to help you share Christ with your patients and colleagues.

  • Local opportunities to mentor, and be mentored. If you’d like to learn more, reach out to us here.

  • Biblically-informed, medically-sound statements on a variety of relevant current topics in healthcare.

  • Many of these resources can be conveniently found on our apps, which are available for both Android and iOS. Our ‘CMDA Go’ app contains a wide variety of resources, while the ‘CMDA Student Life’ app curates student-specific resources.

Join the Christian medical community in Phoenix. Through CMDA Phoenix you'll network with other Christians within your community, school or hospital campus.

God did not create us to live in isolation. Yet, the life of a healthcare students and providers is so busy and stressful that it often can propel us into living life disconnected from others. For this reason, it is important for you to find community with others whom you can share and do life with. CMDA Phoenix is committed to creating opportunities for healthcare students and professionals in Phoenix to CONNECT with others. Learn more here.

  • At the present time, approximately $150,000.

  • -Ministry events, such as local student or professional gatherings, and mission trips.

    -Our salaries.

    -Day-to-day expenses such as sharing a meal with a student or professional.

    -Office supplies, office rental charges, and technological expenses.

    -Professional development expenses.

    -Many other items: there are too many to list here!

  • We rely solely on the financial partnership of individual donors and churches for our entire ministry budget, including salaries and all ministry-related expenses. While CMDA National stands behind us on many levels, they are not able to lend any financial resources.

  • Your entire donation (minus CMDA National’s administrative fee) will go directly to support CMDA Phoenix if you give through our secure online portal. If you elect to send a check, or give through a donor-advised fund, please specify that your gift is for ‘CMDA Phoenix’.

  • Yes, absolutely.

  • Average contributions are approximately:

    -$100 per month, or,

    -$1,200 per year

    Of course, that’s just an average. Please give as God leads you!

  • We appreciate monthly donations because they help us maintain a consistent level of giving throughout the year. They can be setup automatically on CMDA’s online giving portal. However, we recognize other giving frequencies may fit your situation better, so please feel free to do what works well for you. The giving portal allows for significant flexibility in this area.
