MISSIONS & OUTREACH

While God has given gifts to us, they are not, ultimately, for us. We are blessed to be a blessing (see Genesis 12:2).

Here are some current mission, outreach and volunteer opportunities we are connected with, some of which have no formal connection to CMDA.

Project C.U.R.E. – with a local branch in Tempe (just outside of Phoenix), Project C.U.R.E. delivers life-saving medical equipment and supplies to hospitals and clinics throughout the under-resourced world.

The Neighborhood Christian Clinic – provides medical and dental services to the uninsured community, and shares the gospel and love of Christ with interested patients and colleagues. They also seek to train and equip healthcare professionals to respectfully share the Gospel and love of Jesus Christ in their daily practice.

Global Health Outreach (GHO) is CMDA’s short-term international missions program dedicated to providing healthcare while spreading the gospel by sending medical, dental and surgical teams around the world. To find a trip, go here.

Kenya Medical Mission (September 10-22, 2022) – Join local physician Dr. Diane Matsumoto (drdiane@cox.net) for a medical mission trip that will serve those in need – and, refresh you! Dentists, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, physician assistants, physicians, non-medical personnel, nurses, optometrists, and pharmacists are needed to provide a variety of care (pediatric, adult, women’s health, and dental and eye outreach). Bonus: optional safari at the end!
